i have the old xbox adapter and im planning to get that dual band adapter but my only concern is if i have the wireless N router and that adapter, will it have an interference with the connection to xbox live? cuz my old one when i use it i have this lagging problem and im not sure whats the reason and maybe it was our wireless phone, laptops or even the microwave oven..do you think i will have a pure connection with the new wireless xbox adapter?

@ryanbeglad lol if they build built in wifi in the 360 , you’d get more red rings of death because it uses up more power . so the 360 has a greater chance of gettin the red ring of death.

@ryanbeglad
actually. i think i know why. Mabey its because wired connection is faster. cause on my ps3 wifi is fucking laggy, long ass time to download and hard. but on my 360 wired is fast and easy. but i agree with you though.
INCLUDE IT WITH THE GOD DAMN CONSOLE >:(

July 16th, 2010 at 06:21
dude, what’s the difference between the
wireless N network adapter and wireless adapter?
July 16th, 2010 at 06:35
How far is the range on the adapter?
July 16th, 2010 at 07:23
@young126money
The whole point of having the Wireless Network Adapter is to connect wirelessly to your “Wireless Network”, whether that be connecting to a Router, Modem, Switch, Hub, etc that can accept that wireless connection.
You might want to do some research before buying a product you cannot even utilize. At least, so you know what you need in conjunction with this product.

@XxXArIsKaXxX
Do you get Internet access for free with a Wireless Network Adapter attached to your personal computer?
The answer is NO, so why you expect this for one for the Xbox 360?
It’s NOT like you get 50% off for using a wired connection and 100% discount for going wireless.
It’s for connecting your console to your wireless network. So that you don’t have to run a wire from your Router, modem, hub, etc…
It’s NOT complicated.
